Hour of Code 2017
Posted on 12/01/2017
Can you make technology?Technology is all around us. Many of our kids are really good at using technology, but someone has to make all of that technology talk to one another! In addition to offering courses at our secondary buildings that address skills and concepts necessary for a career in coding, Titan Hill is in it's third year of participating in the "Hour of Code," a yearly, worldwide celebration during Computer Science Education Week. The goal of Hour of Code is to get kids interested in careers in coding through videos and easy-to-use resources that teach coding basics. We continue to update this Symbaloo page with free activities you can do from anywhere. As you see in the image below, activities get more difficult as you move clockwise around the Symbaloo page. Some kids love moving Moana on the Code.org website, while other enjoy building a Hot Wheels track or creating a Monster High music video on the Tynker website. Feel free to try one yourself!
